1. Institute of Food Technologists

McCormick Place
Chicago, IL
The Institute of Food Technologists hosts the largest collection of ingredients, processing and packaging suppliers each year. Here, global food trends and the products created to meet them are on display. Given the sheer size of this trade show, two-thirds of all attends come back each year. The IFT Food Expo is really the best show to see where the food industry is heading.

2. Farm Progress Show 2016

Boone, Iowa
This “World’s Fair of Agriculture” brings together the agriculture industry to showcase new farming technology from farming drones to demo fields for new products and services. The show is so big that golf carts can be rented from a vendor – which is a nice amenity given the fact that the expo takes place over 100-acres.

3. SupplySide West International - Las Vegas Trade Show 2016
October 6-7, 2016
Mandalay Bay Convention Center
Las Vegas, NV
This year, the SupplySide West International trade show is featuring over 1,200 exhibiting companies that will showcase of 10,000 ingredients and services. This show is a must-attend for professionals in product markets ranging from functional food to nutrition to those with a general interest in the food industry.

4. 3i Show 2016
October 13-15, 2016
Dodge City, Kansas
The 3i Show allows for exhibitors – both domestic and international – to showcase cutting edge agri-business products. Originally a traveling exhibit, this show became a staple in the agri-business industry. Over 500 exhibitors representing 1,000 companies share their products and services.

5. Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit
October 14-16, 2016
Orange County Convention Center
Orlando, FL
The Fresh Summit, organized by the Produce Marketing Association, brings 20,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors together from all over the world. Experts in the produce and floral landscape detail the current trends of the produce supply chain. The exhibitors, which are from 60+ countries, showcase their solutions to modern problems in the produce supply chain and floral industry.
